Thanks to our generous members, we were able to raise $1845.00 for our members in need. We currently have 6 members who have been out over 5 month's due to a non-work injury or illness. Thank you for your generosity.
We have 2010 Scholarship forms for District 8 and Western Virginia Labor Federation
District 8 has a scholarship program for high school graduates who wish to enter college. Four scholarships (one from each state, Kentucky, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia) are awarded annually to the sons, daughters or legal wards of active, retired or deceased members of the Steelworkers Union. The Value of the the scholarship is $1000/year for up to four years ($4000.00 total).
